Before establishing the Sarukhanyan Law Group, Mrs. Sarukhanyan began her Workers’ Compensation career working with Odjaghian Law Group, a well-known and highly respected law firm. Mrs. Sarukhanyan’s practice areas included Workers’ Compensation litigation with an emphasis on catastrophic and traumatic brain injury claims. She specialized in personalized and aggressive prosecution of catastrophic injury claims on behalf of injured workers suffering from brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and severe PTSD. During her over six-year tenure at Odjaghian Law Group, Mrs. Sarukhanyan has achieved phenomenal results for her clients. As a result, Mrs. Sarukhanyan was named “10 Best Workers’ Compensation Attorneys” in 2019, as well as 2020.

Although Mrs. Sarukhanyan was offered partnership opportunities, she was determined to pursue her own dreams by founding Sarukhanyan Law Group, her own practice which focuses on personalized and aggressive prosecution of Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury matters.

With her extensive knowledge of the law, coupled with her vast experience both as a defense attorney as well as an attorney who represented traumatically brain injured individuals, Mrs. Sarukhanyan is dedicated to improving the lives of the injured workers and leave them in a better position than she found them. Having previously represented insurance companies, third party administrators, and self-insured entities in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation defense, Mrs. Sarukhanyan is empowered with a unique perspective to anticipate the opposition in order to fight insurance companies and obtain outstanding results for her clients.

Mrs. Sarukhanyan’s legal practice began as a summer associate at a reputable insurance defense firm in Los Angeles. After the summer internship, Mrs. Sarukhanyan was an associate attorney at a prominent insurance defense firm in Encino, where she litigated complex insurance defense and bad faith cases.

Mrs. Sarukhanyan earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern Law School, graduating at the top 1% of her class Magna Cum Laude. At Southwestern Law School, she participated in Moot Court and Law Review and has been awarded many high honors and scholarships. Mrs. Sarukhanyan was placed on the Dean’s List every year of her entire tenure in law school.

Prior to entering legal practice, Mrs. Sarukhanyan served as a legal extern to the Honorable Judge Gutierrez of the U.S. District Court, Central District and as a legal extern at the District Attorney’s Office.

Mrs. Sarukhanyan is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Mrs. Sarukhanyan is fluent in Armenian and Russian. She is happily married and a proud mother of three children.
